Chief Financial Officer

Our client is a fast growth international travel business. Supporting the CEO and working with well-established PE backers, the CFO will play a critical role in executing the strategy as the business continues to grow both organically and via acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inform and influence strategy as part of the Board; and to challenge where necessary
• Develop KPI's for the business and provide regular and insightful management accounts, forecasts, analysis and commentary to the Board
• Manage cash-flow and the cost-base to support growth within budget
• Work closely with sales and operational teams to monitor, assess and negotiate projects and customer contracts to drive profitability
• Develop and optimise accounting, process and controls and assist with IT & systems implementation to enhance efficiency 
• Ensure there is an environment of strong financial control, balance sheet integrity and reliable transactional finance processes
• Lead on M&A activity

Experience

• Qualified accountant and experienced CFO
• Travel sector experience
• Previous PE experience
• Hands-on and collaborative style and approach
• Commercially and strategically astute
• Experience with IT and the implementation of new systems and processes
• M&A experience
