ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the Finance Manager role will perform an all encompassing, end-to-end management of the day to day finance activities within the business. The role will be integral in supporting the wider business with timely, accurate and influential finance support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Management accounting
• Financial accounting including ownership of statutory accounts and year end
• Liaison with external advisors and auditors
• Responsibility for transactional finance including PL, SL, credit control
• Cashflow and cash Forecasting
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Maintenance of fixed asset register
• Maintenance and improvement of procedures, controls, systems
• Management and development of finance team

PERSON PROFILE

• CIMA, ACCA, ACA Qualified
• Previous experience of overall finance management, ideally gained within an SME environment
• Excellent ability to work autonomously with proactive character
• Previous management experience
• Excellent time prioritisation skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
• Desire to improve and challenge the current working practices
