Your new Finance Director role:
The successful Finance Director will report to the Chief Executive as their deputy and will lead an accomplished finance team to meet reporting deadlines within a Limited company group structure. In this hands on role you will have full responsibility for Finance team with opportunity to transform the monthly performance management process.
The Finance Director will own the financial reporting cycle, oversee day to day financial transactions, ensure client money compliance, set annual budgets and prepare ongoing financial forecasts. Above all you will seek to drive business performance through a culture of continuous improvement and relentless challenge to help meet stretching growth targets. There will be good exposure to the wider business through driving the strategic plan and having a significant input to business development initiatives.
As a member of the senior management team you will be expected to provide leadership to other key business support disciplines such as IT. There will also be a range of project work now that the Group is going through such an exciting period of change.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Ideally you will need to be a fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) accountant looking to join a reputable progressive business.
- Leadership experience in the context of budgeting/forecasting/management accounts is essential.
