This dynamic & entrepreneurial Venture Capital backed group operates within the competitive technology-led services & product Leasing sector. With ambitious strategic & financial targets, the business is entering a phase of rapid growth & expansion, which has created a high profile entry point for a commercially focused hands-on Finance Director. Supporting the Managing Director & main board, you will act as a finance business partner to the organisation, managing a co-located team of 20+ staff. A broad brief includes:

*Management & development of the finance team
*Lead & develop the commercial finance community in the preparation of management information, WIP & contract Profit & Loss
*Provision of commercial financial inputs to support continued growth
*Control of financial activity including monthly, statutory & annual year end accounting
*Facilitate the delivery of key financial & business objectives
*Preparation of monthly management accounts, performance review & commentary
*Analysis of variances, trends & KPI’s
*Development of robust financial management systems & control processes
*Coordinating annual planning & budgeting processes
*Ensuring management of financial sustainability & effective cash management
*Driving working capital & performance improvement initiatives
*Business partnering with operations to influence sales decisions & win bids
*Supporting contract re-negotiation & bid/tender processes

As a qualified Finance Director or Financial Controller with a strong track record in understanding the numbers, financial controls, management accounting & commercial decision making, gained within a highly sales focused technology, leasing & services organisation, you will demonstrate proven staff management capability, the gravitas to support & influence senior directors on business-critical areas & a strong commercial focus.
