An excellent permanent opportunity has become available to work for an instantly recognisable brand as a Finance Manager. The role would suit a qualified or part qualified accountant looking for an interesting and varied role with an excellent employer.

The finance manager will be responsible for ensuring financial controls are adhered to, managing and developing the finance team of three and for driving productivity and efficiency.

Key duties will include:
Daily, weekly and monthly reporting of performance figures and variance analysis
Preparation or month end accruals and prepayments
Ensuring purchase ledger controls and transactions are processed correctly
Providing financial information and support to commercial managers
Managing site expenditure - budgeting and forecasting and supporting managers with business planning

Candidates should have strong management accounting and analysis skills. Excellent communication skills and confidence will be needed to deal with commercial managers throughout the business and communicate financial information to non finance colleagues. Previous staff management experience of a small team will be required. Previous use of the SAP system and good Excel skills would be very beneficial.
