Our client a high profile, global media business based in Central London is seeking an exceptional, qualified Finance Manager to join their high calibre Finance Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain varied experience working on high profile projects providing key commercial financial support to senior management. Reporting to the Commercial Financial Director the Commercial Finance Manager’s key responsibilities include:

• Managing and leading a small team of Management Accountants
• Producing accurate and timely monthly management accounts and presenting financial information to the management team on a monthly basis
• Finance support and business partner on a large number of projects
• Supporting the management teams to ensure that monthly sales forecasts and full P&L quarterly re-forecasts are accurate and deliverable as well as the development of a high-quality annual budget.
• Ensuring a strong control environment is maintained to include SOX compliance and liaising with external auditors as required

The successful Finance Manager with professionally qualified with a strong academic background and a successful track record of commercially supporting a business within a business services industry. To succeed you will have considerable experience of leading and developing a small team and have excellent analytical and financial modelling skills as well as experience of project cost accounting. The ability to be a self starter with a commercial, astute approach as well as outstanding communication and influencing skills are essential. An outgoing, confident and excellent team player is also a must.
