Job description
A world leading, blue chip, specialist manufacturer is looking for an Assistant Treasurer to be based in West London. Reporting to the Head of Tax and Treasury, key responsibilities include: leading and motivating the Treasury team, managing Foreign Exchange Exposure, managing the Group's exposure to interest rate changes to meet agreed objectives, debt management, monitoring Business Unit cash requirements ensuring adequate and efficient funding, identifying and implementing process and control improvements, monitoring and advising on treasury related processes and risks, and preparing treasury information for Senior Management. The successful candidate will be a degree calibre, ACA qualified Accountant with experience of staff management and reviewing control environments and processes and providing value-adding advice. You must be a self-motivated, team player with a strong understanding of technical accounting, IFRS and US GAAP, as well as a desire to learn and develop. Good communication and influencing skills and a results focus are also essential.
