Job description
The purpose of this role will be to oversee the preparation of the accounting information produced by allocated team pertaining to the portfolio of investment funds including monthly management reports, revenue forecasts, and interim and annual reports, etc; to ensure all accounting, administration, statutory and other deadlines are met; to ensure any changes to client funds, staffing arrangements and technical requirements are dealt with appropriately and correctly; participate in considering growth and direction of department, and other staffing and management issues. In this role you will be responsible for profit centre reporting and be empowered to drive the business forward; monthly performance reporting to divisional FD and Management team; ensuring adequate financial controls are in place and compliance with Group policies; financial support and advice to the business; monitoring performance by the use of key performance indicators; identifying income maximisation and cost saving opportunities – rolling out changes to achieve profit improvement; ensuring a client focused service is delivered; part of the overall business management structure. Essential requirements: good communication skills, thorough knowledge of accounting techniques and principles; up to date accountancy knowledge, including working knowledge of IFRS; ability to meet deadlines, attention to detail, numerate, articulate, team player.
