Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the leaders in Real Estate/Construction in the Middle East in the capacity of Chief Financial Officer. This is an amazing opportunity to initiate, shape and give direction to a new Finance team. It is imperative that you have experience in a start up operation, and have a real hands-on approach. Scope of work: establish the holding company Finance department; monitor and report on overall and business unit financial performance; establish strategic financial objectives and key performance indicators for the group; provide leadership and direction for the Finance department and holding company; own financial and performance reporting, budgets, business plans (financial); prepare consolidated financial statements for the group; establish cash flow planning and manage group financial activities with project and working capital financing facilities; review viability of new investment projects, potential acquisitions and divestments; develop and implement policies and procedures for the Finance function with best practices. Candidate profile: significant related experience in finance; finance degree; CA/CIMA/ ACCA/CMA/CFA/CPA qualified; experience of starting up a Finance department; experience in structuring and financial modelling/feasibility analysis.
