Job description
Our client is a profitable and fast growing privately owned group engaged in property management services and development/construction for Public Sector healthcare/social care clients. Currently employing around 90 staff, it seeks a full-time “hands-on” FD to lead its small finance team and to play a key role as a member of its board in the strategy and development of the group. A team player, able to work in an open and consultative management environment, you will provide a credible sounding board and challenge to senior management. Entrepreneurial in outlook and a lateral thinker, you will have a good eye for the detail, yet be capable of seeing the wider perspective. You will need the intellect to understand and model complex financial arrangements and cash flows, and have a proven ability to work with banks and external advisors. Your experience should ideally include a time-charging business. Exposure to the Property/Construction and/or Public Sector would be an advantage.
