Transun Travel, one of the UK’s leading independent specialist Tour Operators in the Leisure industry, has a fantastic opportunity for an Accountant to join its Finance/Administration team. You will be working on a range of tasks to include preparation of management accounts, statutory accounts, budgeting, forecasting, cash flows, VAT returns, payroll, managing UK & overseas payments, credit control and all banking issues.

We have recently invested in a new accounts and ERP system, SAP Business One, and you would assist in the implementation of this new software.

All applicants must hold a recognised accountancy qualification or be qualified by experience and possess a broad knowledge of financial processes and computer systems. Knowledge of the Hotel or Travel industry is beneficial. You will need to be highly self-motivated, work well under pressure, be a good team player and confident in your abilities.

The role will provide exposure to management accounts preparation, international business processes, a varied range of tasks and valuable financial experience.

In return you will have an opportunity to work both in the UK and overseas (shorter periods) with varied responsibilities in your role, within a fast-paced and enjoyable working atmosphere with genuine opportunities for career development.
