Project Accountant:
PMO Controller (Project Manager/Finance Lead) – Leyland – Excellent Salary
Function/Department: Programme Management Office (PMO)

Purpose:
To ensure achievement of group strategic plans through the successful delivery of the Project Engage PMO plans. Supporting the PMO team and wider business in all financial aspects of the Project Engage plans.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contract dashboard financial tracking, reporting and achievement of saving plan milestones.
- Responsible for a portfolio of PMO plans and the primary PMO contact for that portfolio of contracts to Project teams.
- In particular, responsible for the In Budget savings plans (PIPS & MMPs) which support the monthly Contract Dashboards, ensuring the Contract Dashboards are populated with the monthly PMO plan updates.
- Will regularly chair meetings with the Contract teams to understand the PMO plan progress, risks, dependencies and, where possible, facilitating Contract teams to resolve issues within the Group.
- Maintain financial controls for the overall PMO recording, monitoring and reporting of the monthly financial results.
- Key player in the PMO month end reporting process. Reviewing reported progress and financial results on PMO plans and reporting the achievement of plan milestones and monthly results.
- Undertaking on-site visits to validate reported improvements and efficiencies.
- Preparation of the monthly PMO Board report and other ad hoc reporting requirements.

Locations: Based at Lancaster House, Leyland, PR26 6TX; occasional travel required to Enterprise sites/offices to support projects.
Key Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant (part-qualified may be considered).
- Proficient in Excel and other Office Applications.
- Strong communication skills – you will be directly liaising with key stakeholders, the Senior Management team and individual PMO Plan Project teams across the Group.
- Organised approach – you will be responsible for a portfolio of PMO projects being delivered by Project teams simultaneously.
