Job description
A vacancy has arisen for an Accounts Assistant working for a well established organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for posting and reconciling accounts entries and producing timely and accurate management information. The role reports to the Payments Manager/Group Payments Manager. You will: maintain and organise daily work flow; post to multiple ledgers; deal with payment queries from suppliers/subcontractors; and reconcile complex accounts. The role will entail general office administration; preparation of urgent payments; completion of weekly payment run reconciliations; and other ad hoc projects as required. The ideal candidate will have experience in general office administration, experience in sub contract ledger role, knowledge of CIS (essential) and basic knowledge of VAT (essential).
