Analyst / Manager
We are a leading European Fashion Retailer with dynamic expansion plans across Europe. This fast-paced business needs financial leaders who can position the organisation for this growth. From day one, you will be challenged with adding business value using your strategic, analytical, and commercial skills.
An exciting opportunity exists for a high calibre individual to join the Business Planning & Analysis team. This person must possess exceptional initiative and drive, coupled with a highly analytical approach to problem solving and commercial awareness.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Provide proactive, insightful, decision-making support to the leaders of the organisation.
- Develop business analysis, managing financial reporting, and challenging the current business practices.
- Develop a thorough understanding of current business condition of each TJX Europe business by working closely with the Commercial Finance teams to understand their business and its short and medium term outlook.
- Work with European Profit Manager to provide cohesive analytical support on ad hoc financial analyses that drive strategic business decisions.
- Coordinate the development of the Long Range Plan, Annual & Rolling Plan submissions. Explain and evaluate impact of historical performance.
- Continually challenge current thinking and make recommendations on how to optimise business opportunities and minimise risk/cost to the business.
The ideal candidate will have an MBA, accounting qualification, or similar experience.
Strong business modelling skills are a must, with a high level of initiative and drive, combined with an analytical approach to problem solving and acute commercial awareness.
Whilst not essential, experience with a consumer facing business (Retail/FMCG) is highly desirable.
European language skills would be beneficial.
