Job description
Due to in internal project, my client requires a Finance Business Partner for an initial 6-month period. As a member of the Cost Management team within Group Centre Finance, role is to understand the drivers of the business by working as a Finance Business Partner for functions. Main responsibilities include: designing & providing fit for purpose & effective performance management information for stakeholders; producing financial projections to support planning, budgeting & forecasting; identify & understand how value is created, destroyed & driven in the functions; calculate the allocation of costs to recharge clusters through economic transfer arrangements (ETAs); understand the drivers for apportionment & provide rationale for allocation methodology to clusters; interpret past & projected business performance by period, function & cost type, where necessary conducting deep dive analysis for further understanding; ensure month end processes are adhered to & deadlines are met, review month end packs prior to distribution; understand monthly variances to provide commentary for senior executive packs; also submitting regular financial commentary to enable the identification for performance improvement & cost reduction; regular meetings with Team Heads & Cost Managers to assess & identify risks & opportunities; embed the risks & opportunities identified into the quarterly forecast; monitor the performance against budget with understanding of all material movements.
