Job description
This entrepreneurially owned group seeks an ambitious and commercially aware individual, to head a rapidly expanding division. Following the successful tender for several large contracts, totalling over £25m, and further recent rapid growth, the MD requires a talented finance professional to work closely with across the business, thus ensuring potential is fulfilled and opportunities maximised. You will be heavily involved in evaluating potential developments, driving a commercial focus through the operation, dealing with the bank and venture capitalists and ensuring your team of four are mentored to produce the necessary standard of control, reporting and MI required in this fast-paced environment. It is envisaged the role will quickly develop into a full Finance Director position and the successful candidate will demonstrate the necessary ambition and aptitude. You will be a qualified Accountant with an excellent track record in a dynamic environment, ideally holding some experience within or interacting closely with the construction sector.
