Job description
Leading the way in this niche sector, our client has experienced significant growth over the last few years and is now in need of an experienced 'part-time Finance Director' to join the company. As an established manufacturing business with a commitment to design and innovation they have ensured they stay ahead of the competition whilst being at the forefront of new technologies. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business at an exciting point in their development. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will have total control of all financial systems and processes throughout the business providing financial strategy whilst leading and managing the Finance function and department. You will be responsible for all the usual financial reporting requirements but critically this role requires the ability to work within a fast-paced and competitive sector whilst driving an accurate budgeting and planning process. The candidate: the successful applicant will be required on average 2 days per week for the interim period, and then to potentially move to a full-time basis over time; experience gained within both financial and commercial management including managing a wide range of corporate finance matters such as acquisitions and disposals, funding and taxation is required.
