Job description
A new opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a dynamic Digital agency in London. This is a new role due to growth initially on a contract basis with the view of a permanent opportunity. Role responsibilities: your main responsibilities as the Finance Manager will include: full monthly management accounts, finance processes and management of 1 Accounts Assistant. You will be responsible for the balance sheet reconciliations, budget and forecasting and financial timely results. A core element of the role will be to support the Managing Director and effectively be the second in command. There will also be one direct report that you will be responsible for in terms of their career development. You will be commercially and revenue focused. As the ideal candidate you must have experience of working within the media sector. You will pride yourself on your communication skills and be thorough, meticulous in your approach. This is an amazing opportunity to work with an outstanding company and be part of the future. Immediately available candidates or candidates on short term notice will be highly considered. Role requirements: qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent); you will have hands-on experience within the marketing services, ideally digital; systems literate and very good with Excel; Sage experience would be desirable; ready for a challenge in a fast-paced, media environment.
