Job description

Our client is a well established private equity backed B2B client with c£100m turnover. The client has commenced an exciting growth strategy of diversification into new markets to supplement its core business. The role will involve: reporting on banking covenants; coordinate reporting queries on covenants with lenders; manage working capital initiatives and ensure significant headroom in place for all covenants; consolidated rolling forecast – providing sensitivity on covenants, clear visibility of balance sheet, working capital; key point of contact for invoice discounting and produce all relevant reporting and minimise annual cost with working capital management; production of consolidated management accounts; preparation of accounts in subsidiary businesses; management of core financial ledgers; streamline/automate processes within the ledgers to improve accuracy and timeliness; significant improvement in accuracy and timeliness of invoicing required; develop Cognos reporting for financial ledgers; manage with IT the upgrade of the results financial system to the current version; move to multi currency ledgers for foreign subsidiaries and customers; manage consolidated cash flow reporting and forecasting; includes detailed rolling forecast with commentary and variance analysis; ad hoc projects. Requirements: you will be a qualified Accountant; computer literate, with strong Excel skills; strong financial reporting skills; strong system reporting skills (Cognos and or systems implementation would be preferred but is not essential); solid understanding of key controls and processes; excellent communication and leadership skills; self-starter, with the ability to self-motivate and problem solve.
