Job description
My client a leading specialist Financial Services company is looking to recruit a key member of an implementation team on a Hyperion Planning and HFM project. Working alongside a leading Oracle Partner your role will be integral to the successful deployment of these Oracle Hyperion products. The role will require involvement in the EPM implementation around analysing data requirements to build data feeds from the ledger systems. You will have to be able to understand the new EPM system in order to support finance users going forwards and be involved with the implementation partner in configuring the system during the build phase in order to take on the full responsibility for the system during testing. There will also be involvement in supporting the general ledger financials administrator and managing change requests involving the general ledger. Candidates must have experience of working on financial systems and supporting finance users. A key requirement is strong SQL Server knowledge an ability to write SQL queries. Understanding of OLAP cube technology ideally Essbase coupled with prior experience of similar EPM projects involving HFM and Hyperion Planning or alternative projects such as Cognos Controller, Cognos planning. This is a 12 month fixed term contract paying up to £50k with minimal benefits but will very probably lead to a permanent role.
