Job description
Our client is a successful business that is undergoing a number of major strategic changes. It is investing heavily in its IT infrastructure and requires a strong Analyst to support business decision-making and ensure delivery of a large IT development program in a controlled and cost-effective manner. This role works alongside senior management within the IT department but has a dotted reporting line to Central Finance. The role holder is required to gain an understanding of the Company’s complex technology requirements and provide analytical and commercial reports on cost benefits, prepare budgets and compare actuals to budget, ensuring value for money is achieved. You will be a qualified Accountant with an analytical background, and you will have a good general understanding of IT solutions. You must have a commercial outlook and be comfortable working cross-functionally and explaining finance issues to non-finance staff. We are particularly interested in a person with demonstrable experience of budgetary control within a mid-corporate or larger organisation.
Please note, it is unlawful to employ a person in a UK-based job who does not have permission to live and work in the UK. You should make yourself aware of how immigration laws apply to your situation before applying for any jobs. (Refer: Home Office Website).
This position is being advertised by an employment business in the case of temporary positions and an employment agency in the case of permanent positions.
