Job description
My client is leading Media company within the UAE. They have recently won a major contract & as a result they are looking to recruit for a Business Analyst to join their expanding team. Reporting to the Business Planning Manager, your responsibilities will be: to track & analyse business unit trends & assist in making appropriate recommendations that will positively impact the unit; to provide follow up support to the broadcast unit key projects & ensure project planning is on time; to design & document workflow & assist in making appropriate recommendations that will improve operational effectiveness; to assist in business development initiatives such as acquisition/JV activity; business analysis & reporting – to prepare budgets, forecasts & long range plans; to assist in developing the business & strategic plan; to analyse the business unit’s activities & trends & compare analyses against the service standards & best practice; to prepare routine reports (financial, quality, production, operational efficiency, market share, etc); project management. Suitable candidates will have a significant experience in business analysis & project management; proven experience working with Excel & developing & maintaining various analyses & reporting tools. You will ideally have a professional accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA) BA degree business or related field preferred. Candidates with previous Media/Broadcast industry experience will be given preference for this position.
