Job description

An independent City based Business Consultancy firm is looking to recruit a part-time Financial Controller to work 2-3 days a week. In this role you will have remit for full day-to-day financial management. The firm is well established and has a strong reputation in the market. They are engaged on pan-European projects with clients in multiple industry sectors. As Financial Controller you will report to the managing partner and oversee all aspects of finance. This will include but not be limited to: management accounting; setting budgets and reviewing actual results; daily financial management; raising invoices, making payments; management of employee expenses; VAT returns; overseeing audit; foreign currency management; control of payroll; working with firm of Accountants to ensure tax compliance. Person profile/experience required: fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA); proven hands-on financial management experience; broad skill-set; not averse to doing processing related work (invoice and ledgers); ability to support the Management team; available at short notice; looking for a 2-3 day a week part-time role.
