Job description
My client is looking for a fully qualified or equivalent Financial Controller to join them. This is a newly created role, you will be a highly autonomous individual with an all-round and hands-on work ethic. Will be working on numerous, large projects, have the ability to communicate effectively with non-financial Managers within the business. Responsibilities will include the following: daily cash management; statutory accounts preparation; monthly management accounts; yearly budgets preparation; PAYE, dealing with HMRC; ad hoc duties; liaising & dealing with Project Managers; monthly re-forecasting; financial systems development; dealing with external Auditors; offering commercial advice to the board. You will have 2 team members reporting to you. You will be a fully qualified Accountant or equivalent. You will have experience within the construction industry. You will have solid experience of renowned ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Iris, or preferably Pegasus. 1st movers from practice will be considered if you have had clients within the Construction sector.
