Job description
An FTSE 250 Technology business requires a commercially strong Financial Controller to lead the financial management and reporting function for one of its key divisions. Reporting to the FD the role will provide strong financial direction to the business and key tasks will include financial stewardship for the business unit by overseeing clear, transparent and timely processes, seeking and exploiting opportunities to maximise financial returns and profits, managing the budget and forecasting process, supporting and reviewing bid and business investment preparations and guiding management on the financial implications of actions and decisions. The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant with demonstrable experience of managing change in complex organisations gained in a blue chip major corporate environment. Previous project or contract accounting experience is desirable as well strong analytical skills and an intellectually curious approach.
