Job description
Our client is a growing industrial products business. The client is looking to recruit a Group Financial Controller to report to the Group FD in this head office function. The role will involve reporting, budgeting and systems (including variance analysis, external reporting to the parent company); internal controls – review and improvement of systems and processes; risk management – lead group risk management in line with group reporting process; treasury and working capital – maximisation of funds available to borrow, whilst minimising funding needs through projects to minimise Group working capital; external statutory reporting – prepare for holding companies and ensure compliance with legal framework. Experience of Cognos, Hyperion or SAP would be useful but is not essential. This is an excellent role for either a Senior Manager making a move from practice or someone already in industry.
