Job description

A major FMCG company is looking for a temporary cover for the Group Management Accounting Analyst. This role supports the production of timely and relevant financial reporting to the board. Responsibilities: assist in the preparation of ad hoc analysis as required by the Group FC & CFO; preparation of monthly indirects reports for the group, to include commentary on key variances; improvement of the group indirects process, ensuring that all costs are recorded in SAP including basic BEX modelling (previous knowledge not essential); policing group indirects entries in SAP on a daily/weekly basis (as applicable), to ensure correct reporting and improved understanding in advance of month end; running a bottom up process for forecasting and budgeting of group indirects; consolidation of the weekly sales flash; running month end process; helping produce board reports and presentations; everything from invoice processing, to bonus calculations and forecasting. Skills: strong Excel spreadsheet skills; good planning and organising skills; strong analytical skills, with the ability to focus in on the key issues; proactive, self-motivated and ability to use initiative.
