Job description

Our client, a market leading FTSE 100 organisation, is currently looking for a Joint Venture/Project qualified Accountant to join its successful organisation. This would be an ideal opportunity for a candidate coming from a Petrochemical/oil and gas background and looking to extend their joint venture accounting skills and experience working on joint venture accounting projects. The successful Joint Venture/Project Accountant will have to display strong evidence of undergoing the following working skills: strong experience with joint venture/project accounting; experience with cash flow forecasting; regular liaison with the Accounts Payable team; hedging currency skills; spend analysis financial forecasting; excellent Excel skills (v-lookups and Pivot tables); working experience of SUN and SAP; regular liaison with financial related departments; along with these skills you will also demonstrate excellent people skills and good judgement attributes. In addition you will hold credible abilities in terms of working through issues and working outside of the structure. The interview stages for the vacancy of Project/Joint Venture Accountant will begin immediately and the wage on offer is £250 - £300 per day lasting for the minimum of 1 year.
