Job description

An excellent opportunity has arisen in an award winning Training company based in Central London for the position of Management Accountant. The role offers brilliant progression for part-qualified Accountants as the role is expected to develop in to the Finance Manager position over time. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the role offers a wide range of responsibilities including P&L, balance sheets, variance reports, analysis, forecasts and budgeting as well as overseeing a junior who will be doing data entry and inputting invoices. In a commercial and sales based environment, you will need excellent interpersonal skills as liaising with other teams and Managers across the business will be a frequent occurrence. You must be part-qualified and studying towards a CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent) and have good Excel experience - Vlookups and Pivot Tables are essential. A commercial background and knowledge of Access Dimensions or Qlikview are desirable but not essential. Furthermore, due to the managerial nature and progression the role offers, you must have previous experience of managing a team of one or more persons. You will be rewarded with a starting salary of between £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience and suitability. The company also offers a comprehensive study support package to allow you to further progress your studies.
