Job description
My client, an expanding Financial Services organisation based in Croydon, is currently recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join the team in a newly created position. The purpose of this role is to measure, prepare, interpret and communicate information to be used by management to plan, evaluate and control the development of the business. You will be required to work from the Croydon based head office for 50% of your time and the rest of your time will be spent commuting to various business sites across London and the South East. Key accountabilities will include: producing weekly, monthly and quarterly management reports; preparing balance sheet, cash flow statements, income & expenditure accounts and tax returns; maintaining fixed asset registers, balances sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments; maintaining financial reporting system; providing commentary and conclusions on the information including revenue recognition, cost levels and cash flow; investigating cost and profit variances and exploring them with line Managers; assisting with year end audit. Applicants must be part/qualified Management Accountants and will ideally have experience within a high growth private equity backed business. Strong Excel (minimum level pivot table, v-look up) and ideally knowledge of SUN Accounts. Unfortunately due to the large number of applications we will only be able to contact candidates who are short-listed for this role.
Please note, it is unlawful to employ a person in a UK-based job who does not have permission to live and work in the UK. You should make yourself aware of how immigration laws apply to your situation before applying for any jobs. (Refer: Home Office Website).
