Job description

An exciting opportunity to join a global Pharmaceutical company, working with the Programme Management Office (PMO) support a major, high profile Working Capital Programme to deliver financial value to the business across a number of key workstreams. The workstreams consist of various pilot projects, which cover around 50 projects and initiatives. As Project Planner some of the key responsibilities include: develop, maintain and manage project plans with key milestones; update the issues and risk logs across multiple projects; ensure work stream milestones are tracked and reported to the PMO; provide weekly stream status reports; manage change controls; design reporting templates; support the Stream Leads and Managers in tracking projects and initiatives; ensure plans are being tracked and updated; report actual performance and variance against Project plan baselines; coordinate project life cycle; facilitate and chair workstream planning and update review meetings; explain PMO reporting requirements to local hubs and sites; communicate actions from leadership meetings back to the business; provide input to the support the wider team eg facilitation of meetings, ad hoc task management. team planning etc. The successful candidate will have project planning or coordination experience gained within large, complex organisations and be looking for advancement into a new challenging role.
