Job description

My client a FTSE 100 company based in Surrey is looking to recruit a Senior Finance Manager for an initial 6-month contract. This is a great opportunity to join an outstanding company, to gain strong commercial experience and to get actively involved in the strategic financial direction of the company. Reporting to the FD, your main responsibilities will include the following: responsible for the budgeting and forecasting and presentation of the business results to board level; responsible for the consolidation and presentation of the business results to senior management; responsible for the preparation and implementation of yearly strategic plans; responsible for the delivery of a robust and accurate process for reporting external project spend; responsible for the preparation of month end accounts. The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant, with extensive experience in consolidation, budgeting, forecasting and with a very strong focus on strategic planning. Experienced gained within a FTSE 100 company would be a strong advantage and a proven track record is paramount for applying to this role.
