Job description
Our client is a world renowned €10 billion global Manufacturer with a prestigious customer base and a growing order book. Due to a re-organisation within one of their facilities located close to Manchester we have been asked to identify a Senior Financial Controller for a facility that has sales of £40m and is expected to grow. You will report directly to the Managing Director with a dotted line to the Group Finance Director. You will be managing a team of 5 people and be responsible for providing all financial information for this facility. As part of the Senior Management team you will also be involved in setting the strategic direction of the company and planning its implementation. Duties: production of management accounts and reporting; cash flow forecasting and cash control; VAT; assisting with reporting statutory accounts; process improvements; cost reductions; preparation of trial balance, balance sheet and profit and loss; month end processing and analysis; debtor reconciliations; stock control and work in progress analysis.
