Operational Finance Director – Europe & Asia

ICF International (NASDAQ:ICFI) provides professional services and technology solutions that deliver beneficial impact in areas critical to the world's future. ICF is fluent in the language of change, whether driven by markets, technology, or policy. Since 1969, we have combined a passion for our work with deep industry expertise to tackle our clients' most important challenges. We partner with clients around the globe—advising, executing, innovating—to help them define and achieve success. Our more than 4,500 employees serve government and commercial clients from more than 60 offices worldwide.

We are now looking for an Operational Finance Director to build on our success across Europe and Asia.

This is a role of significant intellectual, practical and geographical influence. Based in either the UK or Brussels, you will lead our Financial Planning and Analysis team as well as our Pricing team. You will oversee all aspects of business financial planning and reporting, from project and employee reporting to annual budgeting, monthly forecasts and general financial analysis. You will contribute to the preparation of major bids and proposals, for example, and work closely with senior colleagues on a range of M&A finance activities. We will also rely on you to produce robust monthly Group and Division-level reviews designed to inform the internal business decisions made by our Leadership team. Continuously exploring ways to improve the quality of our reporting will, of course, be another vital part of your brief.

Along with a degree in Finance, Business or a related discipline, you will need extensive leadership experience within an international professional services or consultancy services business. Your strong UK and European consultancy market knowledge will ideally include engagement with both public and private sector clients – and any knowledge of the Asia market would be a distinct advantage.

On the technical front, you must have a strong appreciation of project-based costing and project reporting as well as a thorough grasp of employee time costing principles. You will also need experience of working with commercial and pricing teams on complex bids. In addition to practical expertise in multi-currency operational reporting across a multi-site business, you will have strong business and change-management expertise. Any experience of Deltek products or a similar ERP would be useful.

Add to that your exceptional communication and problem solving skills and you will quickly make your mark as part of our successful team. The willingness to travel across Europe and Asia is, of course, vital.

In return, you will enjoy an excellent benefits package and an environment where your intellectual and practical abilities are enhanced in a positive and challenging way. This will include access to an award-winning talent development programme within a company that fosters a highly skilled, energised and empowered workforce.

ICF International is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
