The Regulatory Reporting Accountant role

Your focus will be on periodic, quarterly, half yearly and annual financial reporting requirements, but will also include:
• Successful integration plan of Ireland to GB Processes for all relevant reporting
• Picking up the relevant reporting for GB business unit reporting from the relevant people currently undertaking those tasks within Group functions
• Proactively ensuring greater efficiency in the production of such returns across all geographies served
• Ensuring that new disclosure requirements are understood and ways to comply with requirements developed that are satisfactory and efficient.
• General report to the Financial Reporting team during period end and quarterly forecasting / reporting in the areas of management information and balance sheet controls.


What you’ll need

You’ll need to be a newly or recently qualified accountant with strong attention to detail, and a strong grasp of financial and accounting principles and processes. You should also possess a great written and oral communication skillset and the potential to influence at multiple levels. In depth understanding or knowledge of financial and regulatory reporting knowledge (particularly IFRS), and a good knowledge of Excel and SAP would be extremely advantageous – most important, though, is that you’re ready to learn and have the capability to progress within our Finance team.
Beyond that, we’ll want to see proactive problem-solving skills, the potential to develop your influencing skills, as well as a capacity to take ownership and accountability where appropriate.
