* Assisting Finance Manager in planning and forecasting Sales and Margin
* Weekly setting of daily sales forecast
* Co-ordination of merchandising teams foreign currency requirements
* Key contact to B & M Teams
* Ad-hoc analysis work to support the Merchandise Directors and their teams

RESPONSIBILITIES



Financial Control

* Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to consistently throughout the Business Unit

* Ensure use of best practice, communication and understanding of key business messages through monthly site visits with focus on underperforming contracts

Knowledge and Skills



The successful person will hold a recognised CCAB accounting qualification with relevant PQE gained in a similar environment.



Strong management accounting and analytical skills are essential to the position together with a working knowledge of statutory reporting.



The person should also be comfortable working on an integrated accounts package together with detailed knowledge of core office systems – particularly MS Excel.



The person should have the skills to manage and develop the contract support team.

Qualifications and experience

* CIMA/ACA/ACCA Qualified or equivalent

* Experience of producing budgets and forecast.
* Experience of working with a cube based reporting package preferred.
* Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
* Strong commercial awareness and the ability to partner the wider business
