About the role

We are seeking Finance Business Partner to join Regional Programmes Business Partnering team working alongside Programme Partnerships, Humanitarian and Regional Portfolio divisions.

You will join a team who will combine strong financial discipline with commercial awareness to support, challenge and enable the business areas to maximise impact for children.

Key accountabilities:

· Support and drive the business area through delivery of effective and efficient financial performance

· Drive strong financial controls and advocate financial priorities to the business

· Regional Business Partner (Finance ) will work with and influence Regional Portfolio Heads managing an expenditure budget of £30m-£70m across an area of significant variability

· Provide strategic and financial decision support to the Humanitarian and Programme Partnerships teams and country finance staff where appropriate for all [Asia/E Africa/W Africa/ROW] programmes to underpin strong financial performance

About You

This role would suit an individual looking to combine business modelling, project implementation and finance business partnering skills in a dynamic and ambitious organisation.

The roles will require working with and influencing senior stakeholders and as such require exceptional communication skills and the ability to challenge and influence assertively and cooperatively. Of equal importance is your desire to enhance understanding of the business areas and apply sound commercial judgment. You will need strong analytical, problem-solving and excel skills and the ability to work with various IT systems.

In return we offer a competitive sector salary £38,000 - £42,000 pro rata + pension, development, and the opportunity to help develop a ‘best in sector’ finance service to support leaders in the sector to create dramatic change for children.
