Key Responsibilities

• Ensure controls designed to mitigate risks are accurately represented on the risk register, and are effective.

• Deliver change projects which impact the policyholder tax and product ledgers, including planning, impact assessment, resource estimates, test script design, testing and implementation.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required
• Must be qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA Staff management
experience is essential.
• Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills.
• A good understanding of life and pensions products is essential
so must have experience working in Life Assurance.
• Financial reporting, Operational Tax is desirable, as is change
and project management.

Who we're looking for

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with the passion to be part of a growing company.
Previous experience of implementing and developing financial processes and systems will be key to the success of this role. Therefore a good working knowledge and best practice around month-end reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes is essential.

The successful candidate should possess an excellent communication style and the credibility to gain the relevant buy-in from internal and external stakeholders.

In addition, you will possess logical problem solving skills and a commercial outlook with a view to continuous improvement.
