Stafford & Surrounds and Cannock Chase CCGs are two separate statutory bodies with a single management team. They cover a diverse area of Staffordshire, in the North Midlands, encompassing an interesting demographic mix and GPs committed to the transformation agenda. The combined budget is in excess of £300 million with a total population of 275,000 people. The CCGs management offices are based in Stafford, adjacent to the M6 and on a main line rail crossroads, with Birmingham just 30 minutes and Manchester under an hour away.

In a health economy that has attracted intense national interest and unique outcomes, exemplary standards of quality and safety have been achieved and the CCGs are now well placed to transform services to meet new models and deliver the financial recovery plan. This is a key appointment in the new management structure, being set up along Galbraith principles, to deliver the ambitious 5 year plan.

The Role
This is one of the most challenging and interesting CCG roles offering unique experiences and unrivalled career development. - Extensive experience of PowerPoint and the use of graphs to display complex data.
- Ability to ‘think outside the box’ and assimilate data into meaningful MI
- Strong spreadsheet manipulation skills and aptitude for Excel work
- Project costing management
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels within an organisation.
- Capable of negotiating with external parties

Alongside collections, responsibilities will also include credit checking, reconciliations, query resolution and complex billing entry. Due to the nature of the industry and role a keen eye for detail is essential, services can often be funded by a variety of sources, which often results in complex billing and query issues, they are looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller who can handle such duties in a pressurised environment.
