My client, a Global Tier 1 Automotive Manufacturer seeks an Interim Cost Analyst for a 12 month period to cover a maternity leave. Main purpose of the role is to manage and support all comercial activities relating to nominated projects. Provide cover and support to certain other roles within the department.

Key objectives:



Responsible for the development of costs related to individual programs. Intercat with manufacturing facilities, engineering, program management and account managers to establish estimates of costs on standard and special parts or products.


Work closely with the sales team, plant, engineering and purchasing departments to establish and develop full cost data pack.


Finalise quote appraisals and present information to commercial manager, senior plant and divisional managers.



We are looking for a qualified or QBE accountant with extensive costing experience, you will have a good understanding of product costing principles, working knowledge of complex assembly processes within an Automotive, Aerospace or similar industry would be highly advantageous.
