AAT comes to special exam arrangements

11 January 2007 In Accountancy

News by category

The AAT has come to a special agreement with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) to ensure that AAT students who completed Technician Level 4 in December can sit CIMA and ACCA exams in May.

Students should email the AAT between Monday, January 15th and 5pm on Friday, February 16th, giving permission for the organisation to release their results to the relevant people.

They should also include their AAT student membership number and their ACCA form number or CIMA contact ID so that they can be easily identified.

Following this, the AAT will email the student's exam results and enable the examining bodies to apply appropriate exemptions.

Before sending their results, however, students are advised to check with their local centre or the AAT to ensure their skills test results have been updated.

Interested parties should email cimaexemptions@aat.org.uk or accaexemptions@aat.org.uk, after which they will receive a confirmation email.
