Students looking for a career in finance are to receive substantial discounts on entry-level exams.
The Securities and Investment Institute (SII) will offer gateway examinations and membership to those under 18 who are in full-time education at a greatly discounted rate. They are also offering the deal to graduates that are unemployed after finishing their degree course.
Those students who successfully complete the exams will be given a head-start in looking for a career in financial services.
In a statement on easier.com, Simon Culhane, chief executive of SII, said: "We are delighted to offer these important introductory level examinations at a greatly reduced price for schools, colleges and the unemployed. This will enable many more people to help themselves when looking to move into a job in financial services."
The SII is the professional body for those who work in the securities and investment industry and also provide qualifications to work in finance.
Banks such as Abbey and HSBC have already introduced products aimed at attracting new students for the coming university term.
