A chartered accountant is celebrating after winning an award for scoring top marks in an exam.
Getwokingham.com reports that Emma Tindall, who works for Deloitte in Reading, won the Railton Prize for her achievement in the Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) Professional Stage exams.
She scooped the highest score in the Business Strategy paper and was presented with her prize by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Ms Tindall told the website: "Winning the award came as a complete and welcome surprise.
"I would like to thank my family, colleagues at Deloitte and my business strategy tutor, Erica Coleman, who have been of great support to me."
Ms Tindall, who began studying for her ACA course in September 2007, hopes to qualify at the end of this year.
Twenty-year-old James Briggs, of Bradford, has qualified as the youngest chartered accountant in west Yorkshire.
According to the Telegraph and Argus, Mr Briggs works for Clough and Company in Keighley and will focus on areas such as corporate finance, auditing and taxes.
