Credit crunch even has A-listers running scared It is not just regular people who are feeling the effects of the credit crunch, as Hollywood star Naomi Watts admits that she too is feeling the pinch.

Speaking to the Independent, the actress, whose credits include King Kong, said she is worried about the current economic crisis and is concerned by what is going on in the banking world.

"We're all very vulnerable. I've called my accountant many times in fits of panic. You feel like, 'let me get all my cash out now'. It feels like it's time to hide the money under the mattress. These are very scary times," she added.

Actor Pierce Brosnan is another famous face who cannot hide from the effects of the recession, which has shut down his latest film project.

Reports suggest that the former James Bond's latest cinematic endeavour, Heaven and Earth, has been shut down, with the Independent stating an unidentified British backer had failed to provide promised funds on time.
