PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has been named as the top professional services brand in Britain.
The firm achieved seventh place in the Best Brands of British Origin poll, meaning it outranked all of its rivals.
Ian Powell, chairman and senior partner at PwC, spoke of his delight after the details of the survey, which was conducted by Brand Finance, were revealed.
He said: "This ranking confirms our market leading status and reinforces our commitment to our strategy to invest for the long-term success of our business."
The achievement also underlines the commitment of PwC's staff, as well as the contribution it makes to the wider community, Mr Powell added.
PwC also finished higher in the list than a number of household names including Marks and Spencer, the BBC and Virgin.
Earlier this year, the company was named on the Sunday Times Best Green Companies list, the only one of the Big 4 accountancy firms to feature.
