Big 4 firm KPMG have announced that a creditors meeting will be held on June 1st at noon at Elland Road.

During the meeting administrators will be able to present their proposals for administration to the creditors.

The major object of this meeting is to vote on whether or not to approve moving forward the company voluntary arrangement process.

Joint administrator Richard Fleming said: "At this meeting I will outline the proposal to sell the club to Leeds United Football Club Ltd and will also inform the creditors of any other matters which could influence their decision.

"Creditors will then be invited to vote on the proposal and any modifications that emerge."

During the meeting creditors will also be informed about the level of interest from potential buyers of the club and any alternative bids, added Mr Fleming.

This season saw Leeds United relegated to League 1 and rumours are rife that manager Dennis Wise will soon be shown the door.
