
A hunt for the business leaders of tomorrow has been launched by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
The organastion's Global Business Challenge will pit accountancy students from around the world against one another.
Teams taking part in the competition will have to analyse, report and present on a CIMA case study.
Winning entrants from each country will then be invited to take part in the grand finals which are to be held in Malaysia.
Ray Perry, executive director of brand, profile and marketing at CIMA, said: "The CIMA Global Business Challenge has been set up to bring out the best in the potential business leaders of tomorrow and provides a valuable platform for those taking part."
Teams from UK, Ireland, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, India, China, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates and Australia will take part.
Full-time undergraduates at public and private colleges and universities will be able to enter.
On Moday, CIMA revealed it has become the first UK-based accountancy body to enter into an agreement to train World Bank finance and accounting staff in its professional accountancy qualification.
