New senior finance appointees supported by Hays Recruitment consultant Hays Senior Finance is now offering all newly-appointed senior finance professionals within large corporate organisations a free, two-hour mentoring session.

The support is aiming to assist candidates in fitting into the role and resolve issues that some experience when they are first in the post, according to Onrec.

Candidates will be helped with their initial transition to the organisation by an adviser from coach mentors at business leadership training provider LeaderShape.

"Blue chip companies have expressed some considerable interest in this scheme, which currently applies to financial services appointees in the £75K and above bracket," national director at Hays Senior Finance Teresa Thorrington-Allen told the news provider.

Areas that may be covered by LeaderShape mentors include developing relationships and establishing 'a presence'.

Mentors at LeaderShape have backgrounds as experienced former chief executive officers and business leaders.
