Lancashire bantamweight aims high The Preston-based firm of Moore and Smalley has seen year-on-year growth of late and is rapidly expanding its turnover, aiming for a place among the country's top firms, reports Accountancy Magazine.

In the last year, the firm has charted a 12 per cent rise in turnover to £7.4 million.

This comes on the back of a 20 per cent increase last year and growth of 15 per cent the year before.

Senior partner Rob Salter said: "This has been an exceptional 12 months for Moore and Smalley.

"Our clients have done very well and we have seen positive organic growth through attracting new clients from all areas of Lancashire."

Since 2000, Moore and Smalley has doubled in size and is now aiming for a place on Accountancy's league table of the top 60 firms in the country.

Currently the Big 4 firms of PricewaterhouseCoopers, KPMG, Deloitte and Ernst & Young reside at the top of the table.
