SJD Accountancy has been named the best accountant for IT contractors by readers of Contractor UK (CUK).
This is the fourth year in a row that the news provider has given the award to the accountancy firm following a survey of its readers.
Accepting the title, founder of SJD Simon Dolan said: "Once again I am so grateful to our clients who took the time to vote for us in what is our favourite award to receive."
Other established accountancy firms commended by CUK readers included PlanIT, Nixon Williams and Brookson. AJD Accountancy also saw off competition from newcomer to the awards AccountsNet.
The company provides fixed fee, limited company accountancy services to contractors, freelancers and small to medium-sized businesses.
Past awards won by the organisation include Accountancy Age's award for customer excellence and the highest ranked firm of accountants in the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For.
