Paul Chambers joins Close as its new CFO Paul Chambers, who has 20 years experience in accountancy and financial services, has joined Close's asset management division as chief financial officer (CFO).

PricewaterhouseCoopers and Lehman Brothers are among the list of financial services firms that Mr Chambers has worked at during his career so far.

Martin Andrew, chief executive officer, is excited about the new appointment, saying: "We are delighted to welcome Paul to Close. His experience in working across different business channels will be a valuable asset as we continue to grow."

The most recent addition to Close makes up part of the company's larger recruitment drive.

It recently hired Jonathan Gamble as director of intermediary sales and Steve Mendel who came onboard as the firm's head of wealth management.

The company's products and services feature a focus on management of open-ended investment funds and closed-ended investment trusts. With offices in areas such as offices in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Barbados the organisation operates both in the UK and internationally.
