Accountancy graduates may be interested to hear that one firm has claimed that it may be beneficial for companies to allow their employees to work from home.
According to Riverbed Technology, doing so will make staff work harder and provide them with a positive working experience.
Internet service provider Lumison recently published the results of a survey showing that company culture is the biggest obstacle to businesses allowing their workers to operate from home.
Riverbed senior director of marketing and alliances for Europe, the Middle East and Africa Mark Lewis explained that employees are "more productive" when working from a home office.
The lack of distractions and the correct technology can make a big difference to productivity for home workers, he said.
"Having the correct infrastructure in place for employees to access their business critical applications from home is the key to a successful remote working experience," said Mr Lewis.
